Laura Krekorian, Architect

Laura Krekorian is known for crafting residential architecture for coastal and agrarian landscapes.  A Rhode Island native and life-long equestrian, her work celebrates the unique sense of place that South County, Rhode Island offers.

Sensitive to the use of materials and scale, Laura designs to reflect and enhance the ways her clients want to live, while creating meaning and connection to the natural landscape around them.  In reviewing her more than 30-year portfolio, you will find that Laura’s designs maximize views and bring warmth, light, and beauty into each space.   Her work can be found enhancing the beautiful coastal and rural farm areas of southern Rhode Island, and includes new homes, renovations, and additions.

Laura earned her Architecture degree from Syracuse University.  She is a registered Architect licensed in Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, and a member of The American Institute of Architects (AIA). Her full-service studio offers traditional architectural services from early site planning through construction oversight, and is located on historic Main Street in Wakefield, Rhode Island.
